Join OLÉ! for another lively Lunch and Learn with Dr. Mara Kimmel, whose long career in public policy has centered on rights and justice for her community. This will be held on Wednesday, September 16 at the Birch Room in the BP Energy Center. Doors open at 11:30 AM.
Tickets are on sale now. If you have an OLÉ! account, using your Username and Password, log in at oleanchorage.org, click the MY OLÉ! tab, and scroll down the page to My Special OLÉ! Event to purchase tickets.
If you don’t have an account, go to oleanchorage.org, locate the Main Menu, and select Special Event: Lunch and Learn Fall 2026 and follow the steps to purchase tickets.
Bring a friend along and introduce them to OLÉ! Tickets are $17 per person and include admission plus lunch from Peppercini's.

OLÉ! Calendar
Members can borrow Great Courses DVD's and other videos from the OLÉ! Library. Log in to this site and go to My OLÉ!, then scroll down to the Library section. Select the topic you are interested in and get a list of titles. Submit a request to check out items of interest to you. The Library Team will deliver them to you.
About OLÉ!
OLÉ! is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization in Anchorage, Alaska, offering stimulating courses. Courses are open to any adult but are specifically designed for people over the age of 50.
No tests, no papers, no grades – just learning for the love of it.
To see current and past courses go to Courses under the Main Menu.
To register for courses you must be a member. Once you are a member you can register for as many courses as you like. See Membership under the Main Menu.
There are two eight-week semesters per year, with a full schedule of daytime courses.
Hikes, tours and special events may also be offered, particularly between semesters and during the summer months when classes are not in session.
Members can log in with their username and password to register for courses and to access course materials.
