Shared Interest Groups
Connect with other OLÉ! members around a common interest, skill, activity, or conversation.
Built by members, shaped by shared interests
A Shared Interest Group—or SIG—is a group of OLÉ! members who meet regularly to pursue something they enjoy together.
Unlike an instructor-led class, each SIG is initiated and organized by its members. Groups may center on discussion, recreation, creativity, learning, or social connection.
Joining a group is easy
You do not need to wait for the beginning of a semester.
- 1Log in
Sign in to your OLÉ! website account so member contact details are available.
- 2Choose a group
Open the Current SIGs list and select the group that interests you.
- 3Contact the coordinator
Use the coordinator information on the group page to say you would like to join.
Create the group you would like to join
SIGs depend on OLÉ! members bringing their interests and energy to the community. If you have a topic in mind, learn how to propose and organize a new group.
